Biomass is an essential raw material for the production of fuels and chemicals in the future, but biomass utilization faces the problems of low process efficiency, low product selectivity and low utilization ratio. The group are devoted to the basic science and technological problems involved in converting biomass into lipids and oleochemicals. Key topics include:
